MARCUS HEARN has written for The Guardian, The Independent and SFX. His previous books include authorised biographies of Gerry Anderson and George Lucas, as well as the Sunday Times bestseller Star Wars: Attack of the Clones – The Illustrated Companion. In recent years his work for Hammer has included the recording of numerous DVD audio commentaries and other special features. He lives in Cambridge, and is the editorial director of the publishing company Reynolds & Hearn.
ALAN BARNES is the author of Sherlock Holmes on Screen and co-author (with Marcus Hearn) of Tarantino A to Zed and Kiss Kiss Bang! Bang!: The Unofficial James Bond Film Companion. A former editor of both Doctor Who Magazine and the Judge Dredd Megazine, his fiction writing includes audio dramas, comic strips and most recently the script for BBC1's animated Doctor Who adventure, The Infinite Quest. Married with three children, he lives in Oxford.
